B&M Announces New Shirley Store

B&M has announced that it will be opening a brand new store in Shirley in a welcome boost to the local economy.

The store will create more than 40 new jobs for local people at the Parkgate development on Stratford Road.

The B&M Bargains store will open its doors for the first time on Saturday 27 February at 9am.

B&M is one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and the new Shirley store follows hot on the heels of the recent store openings in Castle Vale, Minworth, Wednesbury and Aldridge, bringing the total number of jobs created by B&M in the county to more than 250 in the last 18 months.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded and own label products including toys, food & drink, home ware, pet products, health & beauty and seasonal ranges.

A spokesperson for B&M, said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door next month.”
